Episode 16 The Gainesville Ripper

This episode was tough to record for some reason. With technical difficulties and just the particularly horrific nature of this crime.... If sexual assault is particularly triggering for you just skip this episode.. I won't be offended. 

This was the case of the Gainesville Ripper. In August of 1990 there was a serial killer picking off college girls in a college town. Right as the school year was getting under way at University of Florida, a serial killer was brutally raping and murdering young college girls. This is the story of the Gainesville Ripper, Danny Rolling and the panic he caused during a roughly 2 week time frame that August.

Anyone who has been in a long term relationship knows the tribulations that occur when you get together with your partner and attempt to assemble simple furniture. Well, David Tronnes and his bride Shanti Cooper took it to the next level and attempted an entire home renovation project, and as you can guess the project ended with Shanti dead and David awaiting trial on murder charges. Tune in this week to hear the story of a home renovation gone horribly wrong.

Im baaaaaaack.... This week I discuss the murder of Brooke Buchler. Brooke was the all American Girl from Slidell LA. She was a cheerleader she was popular she had her whole life ahead of her. Thanks to a poor choice on a dating up one man ended up severely beaten and stabbed, and she ended up dead.

Episode 13 Victim Judy Malinowski testified at her own murder trial

This week we discuss the horrific and extremely prolonged murder of Judy Malinowski. She was doused in gasoline by her on again off again boyfriend and set on fire. She managed to live nearly two more years before finally succumbing to her injuries. But not before she gave a detailed deposition from her hospital bed.

Episode 12 Kildozer- Marvin Heemyer

This week we discuss the story of how a dude held an entire town hostage for several hours with a literal home made tank destroying the property of anyone who he felt had done him wrong.. On June 4th 2004 Marvin Heemyer had finally had enough. He strapped into his home made tank. A heavily modified Komatsu D355 bulldozer, he plowed through the town of Granby Colorado while everyone simply stood by and watched in horror as he plowed through town hall and other buildings after a years long land/permit dispute with the town.  

Episode 11 Murder of Gabby Petito and Where is Brian Laundrie

This week I get super current, like still active current.. And we talk about Gabby Petito and Brian Laundrie, how he is on the run and Gabby was murdered.. The voice is coming  back online I think.. We shall see....... You may notice an editing hiccup or two.. I had a Joe Biden moment in the middle of recording, Like my train of thought went way off the rails... Not like a squirrel hunt but a totally different planet... But we set the ship back on course and we're smooth sailing from here out.... Hopefully we (I) will be back on a consistent rotation.. This is the story of the Murder of Ken McElroy.. Murdered in broad daylight in the middle of town in front of nearly 100 people, yet no one saw a thing. 

Special shout out to the Cigar Store Idiots, it was while listening to their podcast that I decided to do the story of Ken.
