Finally!! After a brief unplanned hiatus I am back with yet another dumpster fire.... The brutal murder of Doctor Theresa Sievers, a well respected physician in Bonita Springs FL...

She had been found bludgeoned to death in her kitchen, Her husband had the perfect alibi... Or did he?.... Listen to find out.

Episode 8 Mostly Harmless

This episode is the story of a random hiker being found dead in the Everglades and how it took two years to actually identify him. Vance Rodriguez up and left a career as a successful software engineer to explore the Appalachian Trail and the Florida Trail. He went completely off the grid. He was a true loaner, estranged from his family and seemingly plagued with undiagnosed (?) mental health issues no one ever reported the man missing. It took dogged detective work on the part of the Collier County FL Sheriffs office and advances in tracking familial DNA to finally identify the man initially only known as 'Mostly Harmless'

Episode 7 Houdini of Florida- The Odyssey of Mark DeFriest

This week we discuss the story of Mark DeFriest, aka The Houdini of Florida. This man attempted 13 prison escapes 7 of which were considered 'Successful'.  We discuss the fact that because of his propensity for escaping he has turned a 4 year prison sentence for armed robbery into essentially a life sentence.. (The man has been in prison for the last 40 years (minus the brief interludes as a Fugitive.)

Episode 6 Jessica Lunsford

Sorry for being so late with this episode.. Between Tropical Storms and  WuTang Flu possibly running rampant through my house, and various other 'life' things occurring I didn't have the time to record.. Things have been INSANE around the cone of uncertainty... This episode is a little short like last week.. Who knows I may keep the episodes a little shorter... It's a learning curve.... Anyway. This week I covered the tragic murder of Jessica Lunsford. This murder was the catalyst for most sex offender registries and the penalties for not registering that exist today. Thanks for listening and hopefully we will be back to something resembling normal in the next week or so. 

Episode 5 The Jenny Jones Murder

This week is a a short episode.. :( Poor planning on my part. But we cover the murder of Scott Amedure. He was murdered by a fellow guest Jonathan Schmitz after revealing live on TV that he had a crush on Jonathan. The episode in question never actually aired but the segment involving the 'Reveal' is widely available....Jonathan went to Scott's house 3 days after the show taping and gunned him down in cold blood.
